Small Crankbait: This amazing lure gained its popularity from the small profile and amazing action it encompasses. No other small crankbait has this great combination of casting distance, swimming action, maneuverability, and real-life like profile. Originally made specifically for trout and smaller pan fish, anglers soon found out that there isn’t a fish that this lure will not catch. One of the great features of its design is that it works great in high current situations like Rivers, Streams, and Creeks, but also in non current situations like Lakes, Reservoirs, and Ponds. You will be amazed at the response you will get from the action you feel in your rod tip when swimming this small lure.

Pros Tips: Do Not use swivels or clips to attach lure to line. After tying knot on lure, cut left over tag end very short.

Catches fish

 Sep 07, 2013 by Broc

I caught a 24 inch cutthroat within the first few casts. I would recommend trading out the hooks on these lures though. The first fish bent the hooks on both trebles. Same thing happened to another lure with a big fish. Great lure otherwise.

Killer Trout Plug

 Aug 28, 2013 by jim

I was in Montana for a class this past August. Stayed a few days extra to fish rivers that I have heard about all my life. I was not dissapointed! The first day on the Missouri I landed over 40 trout on the HD trout in Firecraw! 17 to 24 inches!! The plug was unbeatable in the fast deep runs. The only problem was I only had one, and I lost it on a fish that crossed the river without me being able to get a glimpse of it. He broke me off on a large rock! I spent the next 3 days fishing my regular plugs , spoons and spinners , WISHING I had another HD!! This lure is going to be in my box from here on out! Cant wait to try it out on the Gauley River in West Virginia!! Great Plug,,,as a life long trout fisherman I highly recommend it! WV Jim

So good the bass eat them up!

 Aug 18, 2013 by Christine W

Was fishing at Quail Lake in Colorado Springs today, saw lots of bass eating at flies in the lake and decided to try out my new glimmer trout lure. Almost immediately I had a massive bass chase after my lure. Once he hit, he snapped the line and made off with my lure before I could chase after him. My friend had a good laugh and decided if the fish will literally eat them up, he’d better get some more too. Thanks for making such a good lure local!

The Day Saver

HD Trout has earned spot in my top 5 Trout catchers in a year or so. And minnow baits and jerk baits are all I fish with. This is one really, really good little lure. It has great action on steady retrieve, not to aggressive, not too subtle. Holds well in fast current, and works great in still water. It responds excellent when twitched, and to any other task you give it. Just play with it. It is easy to work with, and I promise you, you’ll start catching fish with it way before you learn all the tricks with it. It has ability to catch those fish on the hunt, but it will catch resting fish as well, just play with it and you’ll get them to bite. Best for Trout, but you will catch any predatory fish with it, that cares for the meal this big. I won’t say this lure is better than any other lure in it’s class, but I will say this – no other lure beats it in Value For The Money category. Not even close. My best recommendations.

Horrible, worst lure ever!

SSSHHHH! I know they have to sell lures to make money, but lets keep it to ourselves how badass this lure is. Its literally that good.

Best Lure for River Trout and Walleyes.

 Aug 05, 2013 by Tennessee-Kayak-Angler

I fish with the HD trout in Halo Red on the Clinch River below Norris Lake in TN. “It Always delivers”. In fact, I gave away all of my Rapala F7 brown trout lures that I liked so much. These lures cast further and have better action than the Rapalas. The trout love em. I use Halo Red when the water is stained and Glimmer Trout when clear. I don’t even need to change lures when targeting Walleye. I caught more river walleye on the HD Halo Red than any other lure I own.

amazing for any type of fishing

Jul 28, 2013 by Benjamin Eby

I bought several of these while I was living in Colorado and the bubble gum was the best for me there. I went out to eleven mile one day and landed several nice 20″+ browns and rainbows and one nice 20″ cutthroat. Now I live in Florida and was messing around with the natural trout fishing a pier on Tampa bay and the jack crevals were slamming it. I love dynamic lures and wish I could find them down here.

Salvaged Outing

I was fishing Perrault Lake in Canada and was having a bad night while my friends were doing well. I put on the HD Trout and immediately began catching smallmouth. It proved itself several more times that week.

Middle of May, a buddy and I where fishing northern California streams and lakes. Happened to fish the McCloud river one day. We couldn’t keep the rainbows off the HD Trout. That morning we landed 20 fish, from 12″ to 24″ What a lure!!! Dynamic’s HD Trout is HOT.

Second To None For Trout

Mar 12, 2014 by FTP

A better lure for trout in water over 40 degrees does not exist. The amount of fish caught on this little diver is frightening. BIG rainbows and browns love this, and so do brookies and cutts. It runs about 4′ deep on a stop and go jerking retrieve in swift current, and with some suspendstrips and suspendots will get down even deeper. Put a split shot on it and pull it in slowly and go down to depths even further than that. In lakes, stick it behind a heavy sinker and troll, and every species in the lake will nail it and nail it often.
