Size: 2.25″
Weight: .10oz
Action: Sinking
Dive Depth: 2ft

Small Crankbait: This amazing lure gained its popularity from the small profile and amazing action it encompasses. No other small crankbait has this great combination of casting distance, swimming action, maneuverability, and real-life like profile. Originally made specifically for trout and smaller pan fish, anglers soon found out that there isn’t a fish that this lure will not catch. One of the great features of its design is that it works great in high current situations like Rivers, Streams, and Creeks, but also in non current situations like Lakes, Reservoirs, and Ponds. You will be amazed at the response you will get from the action you feel in your rod tip when swimming this small lure.

Recommended Line: 8lb Hydralux

Pros Tips: Do Not use swivels or clips to attach lure to line. After tying knot on lure, cut left over tag end very short.

Vary your retrieve speeds. Use twitches and pauses every now and then.

The Best Trout Lure on the Market

Oct 08, 2014 by Born 2 Fish

I found this trout lure in Bass Pro in Denver last season and thought it was worth a shot. Great action. Caught a boat load of fish that weekend with the HD Trout. Will be ordering more.

Most Amazing River Lure For Trout

Aug 06, 2014 by Derek Burton

I had always been using rapalas in various colors fishing for trout on rivers, i was referred to the HD Trout from a friend and have never gone back. I out fish all the fly fishermen in quantity and size. I will never buy any other lure than the HD Trout. Phenomenal customer service as well, thoroughly impressed with the product and the company.

Finally

This is by far the best new lure to hit the trout market. I first saw this model Recommended by Field and Stream magazine. They hit the nail on the head with this one. There hasn’t been anything new and exciting in the trout market for years. Now there is!

California Trout Killer

May 27, 2014 by Cary Hubble

Middle of May, a buddy and I where fishing northern California streams and lakes. Happened to fish the McCloud river one day. We couldn’t keep the rainbows off the HD Trout. That morning we landed 20 fish, from 12? to 24? What a lure!!! Dynamic’s HD Trout is HOT.

Great Product!

Just got back from a trout fishing trip on the Youghiogheny River in South Western Pennsylvania. I brought with me 4 HD Trout lures giving one to my father and one to my son. We immediately began catching fish on the first cast. My father was using a different minnow lure before putting on the HD Trout and the results where amazing. We caught more trout and some of the largest fish we have ever caught on this stream in 10 years. Thank you for making it a great trip. I will be putting in a second order because unfortunately we lost 3 of them. Thanks for a great product.

Second To None For Trout

Mar 12, 2014 by FTP

A better lure for trout in water over 40 degrees does not exist. The amount of fish caught on this little diver is frightening. BIG rainbows and browns love this, and so do brookies and cutts. It runs about 4ft deep on a stop and go jerking retrieve in swift current, and with some suspend strips and suspend dots will get down even deeper. Put a split shot on it and pull it in slowly and go down to depths even further than that. In lakes, stick it behind a heavy sinker and troll, and every species in the lake will nail it and nail it often.

Lure Report

Jan 15, 2014 by Jim Sisler

I used the HD trout plug while fishing over the last 8 months in both West Virginia, and Montana. It was highly effective on the Gauley in WV, I caught trout on it through out the Gauley on several occasions. Rainbow, Brook and Browns. In Montana I fished it on the Missouri River over a period of several days, it caught trout after trout and has become my go to trout lure!

Performance Tuning

Oct 04, 2013 by Keith

Replaced stock twin trebles with a single Gamakatsu #6 split shank double hook on the tail. No bendout problems with a fair share of quality bows and browns up to 24\”. With less hardware drag the dart and wobble is significantly enhanced over stock hook config. Hookup ratio with one double hook vs twin trebles probably reduced but nonetheless a satisfying tradeoff for less damage to C&R catches.
