I have used spinners for years for river trout but never fished much once weather turned cold. Decided to keep fishing into winter this year so learned quickly trout won’t chase spinners when temps plummet. Guy I met at the river turned me on to jerking these for winter trout and holy hell do they work!! Temps well below freezing and I’m still catching 30 -40 trout a day. Might never use a spinner again. Have not tried all the colors but gold, brown trout and ghost fish my favorites so far.

By far my favorite jerk bait ive ever fished. Pike,walleye,big trout,lake trout, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, wiper. These are the species that ive caught consistently with the jspec. Ive caught fish on every color but chartreuse shad and brown trout in low light levels, and holo gold, ghost fish, and glitter trout when sun is high and bright. Ive had great success with the new brook trout color and will be fishing it for pike this wed. Cant wait!. Play with your techniques. Dont give up just cause the first didnt produce a bite, just gotta figure out how they want it that day.

This jerkbait has proven to catch more big trout then other brands. For a trout lure it has caught multiple species of fish. The color selections are amazing and it too has great action and the right amount of noise. I use them on lakes and rivers with the same results.

My #1 go-to jerkbait and my first choice of any lure for big trout. Just like a lot of other Dynamics, they catch nearly everything that swims. Bass, pike, stripers, trout, walleye, and many other species CAN’T RESIST. I’ve had numerous 100+ fish days using the J-Spec for walleye and trout. I’ve also had GIANT Lake Powell crappie nearly come out of the water to eat it. Ghost Minnow and Chartreuse Shad are absolute bass killers.

The bubblegum so far has been my go to at any lake, stream or river. I’ve caught walleye, pike, bass, trout, panfish and one crazy catfish on it. I also change hook sizes and types to change the action. Sometimes add a little lead wire to the belly hook. Striped bass at lake Powell love them as well. It’s a tough lure to beat if your out looking to get bit anywhere you go.
